How do I change my details, log out or delete my account?
Short answer
All under User Account. Logging out clears the data on this device but keeps everything in the cloud. Deleting the account removes everything, everywhere.
Your profile basics.
- Display Name & Email: Your display name is what other learners see on the leaderboard, up to 18 characters. Changing your email sends a code to the new address that you have to confirm.
- Log Out: Signs you out and clears local data (your data remains safe in the cloud).
Delete Account: The end of the road. You confirm twice, the second time by typing the confirmation word. Your account is closed, you leave the leaderboard and any newsletter, and your data is queued for deletion rather than wiped on the spot.

Your data stays online. Logging out only clears it from this device.
Changing your email is a two-step affair: Vokabulo sends a code to the new address and the change only takes effect once you enter it. Deleting the account is two steps as well, the second asking you to type the confirmation word before the button does anything.
A third row shows Learning since, the date your account was created. And if you do go through with deleting the account, the app replaces itself with a farewell screen and a single sign-out button, which is the last thing you will see.
