How does the streak work?
It rewards consistency without punishing one busy day. Your run counts the days you studied, and milestones catch you when you miss one.
Motivation, engineered.
Streaks are powerful, but life happens. Vokabulo’s streak system is designed to reward consistency while protecting you from the frustration of losing everything due to one busy day.
The flame on Home is the streak of the language you are currently looking at, and it hides entirely for a language that is not switched on for streaks.
The number in Settings, the pill in the drawer and the leaderboard all show something different: your highest streak across every language. So a flame that jumps or vanishes when you switch language has not lost anything.
A streak day runs from your own device’s midnight to the next, and travelling recalculates the deadline from where you last checked in, so crossing time zones does not cost you the day. Streak Management opens with that highest number and the milestone you have passed underneath it.
