Can I take weekends or a holiday off?
Yes. Turn off the weekdays you do not study, or use Pause, either indefinitely or for set dates, and your streak freezes exactly where it is.
Customize your schedule:
- Weekends off?: Disable Saturday and Sunday in settings. The app won’t ask for reviews, and your streak stays safe.
- Going on vacation?: Use the Pause feature (Indefinite or Scheduled). Your streak freezes exactly where it is until you return.
Two things the screen does not spell out. Pause is global: it freezes every language at once, and there is no per-language pause even though the toggles sit right above it. And Study Days is one setting for all your languages, with at least one day always on.
Scheduled pausing sits behind a Set end date switch, which suggests a week ahead. On the day you come back the deadline moves forward, so resuming late in the evening cannot cost you the streak. Studying on a day you switched off does nothing at all: it neither advances your run nor breaks it.
