How do I get the words from a blog article?
Tap "Add to your words" on the article, or scan its QR code. Vokabulo opens on that glossary, you choose a language pair, and the words land in your collection under a tag named after the article.
On the vokabulo.com website, there are regular articles that feature vocabulary for a specific situation. You can easily import these words into your collection by tapping "Add to your words" on the website or scanning the QR code.
Choose the language pair the words should go into. Vokabulo writes them into your collection under a tag named after the article, so you can filter or study them as a group later.
If you are not learning that language yet, the app offers to create the pair first, with the learning language already selected.
Most of the time you are not asked to pick a pair. When the pair you already have selected matches the article’s language, the words go there; the picker only appears when more than one of your pairs could take them.
Vokabulo asks you to confirm before it starts. A short question naming the article, Importing …?, with Yes and No. This is deliberate: a free account gets one article glossary, and each import is a full AI generation rather than a download, so it is worth a second of thought. Answering No when the pair was chosen for you closes the sheet; answering No after picking a pair yourself leaves you on the list so you can choose a different one.
While the glossary is being built
The words are generated on request based on your personal proficiency, not fetched from a shelf. Confirming closes the sheet and drops you on the Words tab with a Creating your glossary… card and a progress bar.
You can keep using the app while it runs, and if it fails the card offers Retry. When it lands, a short Added to capsule tells you where the words went.
